Founded in 1982 by Chuck Blackman, Blackman & Co., Inc. is a mid-sized general construction and construction management firm specializing in renovation/additions to commercial buildings, office interiors, retail food service, shopping malls, healthcare/lifecare facilities and religious institutions.

CASI Construction was founded in 1992 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Blackman & Co., Inc., to specialize in out of the ground construction in the same markets.
